The 6th of August always is a special day for us. My wife and I are together now for 11 years. That’s a real reason for a celebration. I arranged a table for two at restaurant Halvemaan. It’s a bit difficult to find, but after some searching and phoning, we arrived at a somewhat grey office building with no door sign. We were surprised that it was the restaurant. We were lucky because the sun was shining and we could sit outside at a terrace table, looking over a big park pond.

Pricey
The service is formal, but very friendly. But it fits well with the people who have dinner here. Only suits and ties. The amuse was a combination of peas purée with nuts and small shrimps. It had a nice taste. Our other dishes are pictured below. The food is somewhat oily, especially the ravioli. We had a white wine from Israel, which was okay. They didn’t let us taste before they served. For the price we paid, the food was average at best. We rate the place with a 7 out of 10.
