After our limited-but-alright hotel breakfast, we drove for 5,5 hours to Luz Saint Sauveur and checked in at “Domaine Du val de Roland”. It’s a fairly new building with a lot of wood. Our apartment has stunning views on the mountains. It’s not a big apartment, but comfortable enough. One negative: the kitchen utensils are poor. The pans are useless to make crepes (pancakes) with. We had a great time in our apartment though, with planning our mountain walks, playing Uno over and over again and drinking a lot of wine. We also made good use of the swimming pool and sauna.
